Same-Day Crowns and Fillings in Seoul: Fix Your Tooth Before You Fly
Quick answers
- One visit: when the tooth is suitable, the inlay or crown is designed, made and placed on the same day.
- Time in the chair: usually about 1 to 2 hours per tooth, including waiting time.
- Cost: ceramic inlays from ₩450,000 (≈ $320) and crowns from ₩700,000 (≈ $500) per tooth. Composite bonding from ₩200,000 (≈ $140).
- No temporary tooth: you leave with the final ceramic restoration, not a temporary one.
A filling falls out on day two of your trip. A crown cracks while you are eating. Or you have been putting off a crown at home because it means two or three visits and weeks with a temporary tooth. If you only have a few days in Seoul, the question is simple: can it be finished before you fly?
At ARC Dental, we scan your tooth, design the restoration on a computer and make it from ceramic inside the clinic. When the tooth and the size of the damage allow, the whole process is finished in one visit. When it is not suitable, we tell you clearly and plan the safest option around your travel dates.

International credit and debit cards are accepted, as well as cash in KRW or USD. Imaging is charged separately from treatment: a panoramic X-ray is ₩100,000 (≈ $70), and a CT scan (₩150,000, ≈ $110) is added only when more detail is needed. We tell you before any scan is taken.
02 · IS IT SUITABLE?
Is Your Tooth Suitable for Same-Day Treatment?
Same-day treatment is decided by the condition of the tooth, not by how many cavities you have. It usually works well when:
- The cavity or crack is limited and the nerve is healthy.
- An old filling or crown has broken or come off.
- The tooth needs an inlay or crown, and there is enough healthy tooth left to hold it.
It may not be possible in one visit when:
- The decay is close to the nerve, or the tooth needs root canal treatment.
- There is severe inflammation, swelling or infection.
- The damage is very extensive, or the tooth has a deep crack below the gum.

How Same-Day Crowns Work
- Examination. We check the tooth, take X-rays if needed and confirm whether same-day treatment is suitable.
- Preparation. Under local anesthesia, we remove the decay or broken part and shape the tooth.
- Digital scan. An intraoral scanner takes a 3D image of your tooth. No messy impression trays.
- Design. The inlay or crown is designed on screen to match your bite and the shape of your tooth.
- In-clinic fabrication. The ceramic restoration is made inside the clinic with our CEREC CAD/CAM system, so there is no waiting for an outside lab.
- Placement and bite check. We bond the restoration and adjust it until your bite feels right.
For a single tooth, this usually takes about 1 to 2 hours, including waiting time.
